From the silent stalk of a jaguar along the Pantanal’s riverbanks to the fleeting presence of an Iberian Lynx in the rugged wilderness of Spain, each image is a moment I’ve experienced firsthand. Every shot tells a story, one that’s often been years in the making. Whether it's tracking jaguars in Guatemala's remote Mayan Jungle, watching giant otters play in the Pantanal, or photographing the rare reptiles and amphibians of the Amazon, these moments are personal victories—hard-earned connections with nature. In Guatemala, where my passion for wildlife photography first took root, I’ve spent countless seasons documenting the resplendent quetzal and some of the rarest creatures in the region.
